Merchandiser for Established Retail Company in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait



We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Merchandiser to join our established retail company in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. As a Merchandiser, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products are displayed effectively and attractively to drive sales and meet customer demand.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with buyers and suppliers to develop product ranges and negotiate pricing
- Monitor inventory levels and make recommendations for restocking or phasing out products
- Plan and implement product displays and promotions to increase sales
- Monitor sales trends and adjust product placement accordingly
- Conduct regular store visits to ensure proper implementation of merchandising guidelines
- Train store staff on product knowledge and effective merchandising techniques
- Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and promotions
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitors' products, and customer preferences

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
- Prior experience as a Merchandiser or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, and product placement techniques
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
- Must be fluent in Urdu or Punjabi
