Executive Chef


We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Khasab, Oman. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing dishes, as well as a strong understanding of culinary techniques and flavor combinations. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation and presentation, kitchen staff management, and inventory control. You will also work closely with restaurant management to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create innovative menus that reflect the restaurant's concept and appeal to customers
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques, portion control, food safety, and sanitation standards
- Oversee food preparation and ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Maintain kitchen equipment in good working condition and schedule repairs when necessary
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items and specials
- Manage food costs by accurately tracking inventory levels and implementing cost-saving measures
- Ensure compliance with health codes, safety regulations, and company policies

Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining establishment or luxury hotel
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train kitchen staff
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Creativity in developing new dishes while maintaining consistency with existing menu items
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills to effectively delegate tasks and collaborate with other team members
- Flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays if required

Salary: 1400$ per month
