Job Title: Contract Instrument Technician
Location: Al Buraymi, Oman


We are seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team on a contract basis in Al Buraymi, Oman. As an Instrument Technician, you will be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and repair various types of instruments including sensors, transmitters, controllers, and recorders.
- Use a variety of testing equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and pressure gauges to diagnose problems.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to ensure proper functioning of instruments and control systems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment at all times.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Stay updated with new technology and industry trends related to instrument calibration and maintenance.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent. Technical degree or certification in instrumentation preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting.
- Knowledge of various instrument types such as flow meters, level sensors, temperature sensors etc.
- Familiarity with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers) is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Good communication skills to work effectively with team members and other departments.

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1400 per month.
