Temporary Executive Chef
We are in need of a skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team temporarily in Al Buraymi. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating new menus, managing inventory and maintaining food safety standards. The ideal candidate must have prior experience as an Executive Chef and possess excellent leadership skills. This is a temporary position without accommodation, and visa sponsorship will be provided.
As a Temporary Executive Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and implementing new menus that meet the standards of the establishment
- Overseeing all aspects of kitchen operations including food preparation, cooking, and plating
- Ensuring food safety standards are met and maintained at all times
- Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Training and supervising kitchen staff to ensure high-quality dishes are consistently served
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Collaborating with management to develop strategies for improving overall kitchen efficiency
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-volume restaurant or hotel setting
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures
- Ability to create new menus that cater to different tastes and dietary restrictions
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a team effectively
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices
- Fluent in English (Arabic language proficiency is preferred)
