A reputable retail store in Lom, Togo is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions accurately and efficiently while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

- Greet customers and provide friendly and efficient service at the checkout counter.
- Scan products, collect payments, and give change accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Ensure all transactions are processed in a timely manner.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of store policies, promotions, and products.
- Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining inventory levels.
- Follow proper cash handling procedures at all times.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly.
- Basic math skills with the ability to handle cash accurately.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position that may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays. The store is open 7 days a week from 9am to 9pm. The starting salary for this position is $1600 per month.
