Pastry Chef
Our boutique bakery in Lom is seeking a skilled and creative Pastry Chef to join our team. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of desserts, pastries, and other sweet treats for our customers. This role requires someone with a passion for baking and an eye for detail to ensure our pastries are not only delicious but also visually appealing.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and executing pastry menu items according to our bakery's standards
- Preparing doughs, fillings, frostings, and other pastry components
- Baking and decorating a variety of pastries, including cakes, cookies, tarts, and more
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ordering necessary ingredients and supplies to ensure freshness and availability
- Collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure timely production of pastry items
- Following all food safety regulations and maintaining proper hygiene practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment
- Extensive knowledge of different pastry techniques and methods
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to meet production deadlines
- Creativity in designing new pastry items while also staying true to traditional recipes
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with other kitchen staff members
- A degree or certification in culinary arts or relevant field is preferred
Salary: 1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)
Location: Lom (preference for local candidates but open to all nationalities)
