Head Pastry Chef at a Luxury Resort in Albena, Bulgaria


We are seeking an experienced and creative Head Pastry Chef to join our team at a luxury resort in Albena, Bulgaria. As the Head Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department and creating delicious desserts and pastries that will delight our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the pastry department, including menu development, production, and presentation
- Manage a team of pastry chefs and bakers, providing guidance and training as needed
- Create new and innovative dessert offerings that align with the resort's standards and guest preferences
- Monitor food costs and ensure efficient use of ingredients
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed
- Collaborate with other departments to create special desserts for events or promotions
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into pastry offerings

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role in a luxury hotel or restaurant setting
- Excellent knowledge of different types of pastry techniques, including baking, decorating, and plating
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team
- Creative mindset with a passion for creating unique desserts
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high quality standards
- Knowledge of food safety regulations
- Fluent in English (knowledge of Bulgarian is a plus)

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of 1000$ per month along with accommodation and benefits.
