The ideal candidate will have a passion for pastry making and be able to create unique and delicious desserts that will delight our guests. As a Pastry Chef, you will be responsible for designing and executing the pastry menu, managing inventory and ordering supplies, and maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation. The successful candidate will have previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Design and execute creative and unique dessert menus that align with our resort's culinary concept
- Prepare all pastry items according to recipes and quality standards
- Manage inventory levels and order necessary supplies to ensure smooth operation of the pastry department
- Train, supervise, and mentor junior pastry staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pastry kitchen
- Follow all food safety regulations to ensure safe handling of food products
- Collaborate with other chefs to create new menu items that incorporate seasonal ingredients
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques in pastry making

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel setting
- Knowledge of various baking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and tools
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, supervise, and motivate junior staff members
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
- Creativity and passion for pastry making
- Food handling certification preferred
Salary: $1500 per month
