Mason - Construction Worker


We are a construction company based in Sofia, seeking a skilled Mason to join our team. The ideal candidate should have experience in construction and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
- Lay bricks, blocks, or stones according to plans and specifications
- Cut or trim materials to fit specific spaces using hand or power tools
- Measure and mark building lines on surfaces using chalk and tape measure
- Calculate necessary materials and estimate costs for projects
- Use levels, plumb bobs, and other measuring equipment to ensure accuracy of work
- Mix mortar or grout by hand or with a mixing machine
- Spread mortar between bricks or stones using trowel
- Remove excess mortar with hand tools or wire brush
- Smooth out surfaces of blocks or bricks with hammers, chisels, or other tools

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mason in the construction industry
- Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately
- Strong knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work at heights
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently without compromising quality
- Basic math skills for measuring and calculating materials
- Biometric passport (preferred)

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month without accommodation.
