We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria on a contract basis. As a Junior Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, journal entries, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in the field of accounting.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable processes
- Prepare journal entries and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with month-end close activities, including reconciliations and reporting
- Support the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
- Help ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software (experience with QuickBooks is a plus)
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1500 per month.
