Restaurant Manager (Contract) - Plovdiv, Bulgaria


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a Contract Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the restaurant's daily operations, including managing staff, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring quality control
- Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure proper coverage during busy periods
- Train and mentor staff to provide excellent customer service and maintain high standards of quality
- Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and profitability
- Monitor financial performance and make adjustments as needed to meet budget goals
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer experiences

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role
- Proven track record of successfully managing a restaurant operation
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and procedures
- Proficient in budgeting, inventory management, and cost control techniques
- Customer-oriented mindset with exceptional communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience working in Bulgaria or knowledge of Bulgarian cuisine/ culture
- Experience managing contract employees
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
