Contract Librarian in Plovdiv, Bulgaria



As a contract librarian in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, you will be responsible for organizing and managing library resources to meet the information needs of patrons. This is a contract position with a salary of 1600$ per month. The ideal candidate should have a passion for literature and possess excellent organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
- Cataloging and classifying library materials using the Dewey Decimal System
- Assisting patrons with locating materials and providing reference services
- Managing circulation processes and maintaining accurate records of materials borrowed
- Collaborating with other librarians to develop and implement programs to promote literacy and reading
- Ensuring the library space is clean, organized, and conducive to learning
- Staying up-to-date on current trends in literature, technology, and library management

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (preferred)
- Strong computer skills and proficiency in library software systems
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with diverse groups of people
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends as needed
