Contract Carpenter in Plovdiv, Bulgaria


We are seeking a skilled Contract Carpenter to join our team in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. As a Contract Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures made of wood, including furniture, cabinets, and building frameworks. You will work on a contract basis without accommodation provided.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine project requirements
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using rulers, pencil, chalk, and marking gauge
- Cut and shape materials using hand or power tools such as saws, chisels, drills, and sanders
- Assemble structures by joining cut pieces with nails or screws or by gluing them together
- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trimmings according to specifications
- Repair or replace damaged wooden parts of structures
- Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter or similar role in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately
- Proficient in using hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Physical stamina to work long hours on your feet with repetitive motions involved
- Attention to detail with good manual dexterity
- Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Salary:
The salary for this position is 1200$ per month.

Location:
This position is located in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. However, candidates from neighboring cities/countries are welcome to apply.
