Executive Chef - Indian Cuisine


We are in search of an experienced Executive Chef with a passion for Indian cuisine to join our team at a high-end restaurant in Ar Rumaythiyah. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations, creating and implementing new menus, and managing a team of chefs and kitchen staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Indian cuisine, as well as previous experience in a leadership role.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement creative menu items that showcase authentic Indian flavors
- Manage inventory and ordering of ingredients to ensure freshness and quality
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper cooking techniques and food safety standards
- Create schedules for kitchen staff to ensure adequate coverage during busy periods
- Collaborate with management on budgeting, cost control, and pricing strategies
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and ingredients related to Indian cuisine

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a fine dining restaurant setting
- Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian cooking techniques and regional variations
- Proficiency in creating innovative dishes while maintaining authenticity
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent culinary education preferred
- Fluent English communication skills required
