Librarian

We are in need of a highly organized and detail-oriented Librarian to join our team in Medina. As a Librarian, you will be responsible for managing the library's collection, providing reference services to patrons, and creating educational programs and activities for library users.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the library's collection, including cataloging, classifying, and organizing materials
- Assist patrons in locating and accessing resources
- Provide reference services and assist patrons in conducting research
- Develop educational programs and activities to promote literacy and learning among library users
- Plan and implement events such as book clubs, workshops, and author visits
- Collaborate with other librarians to develop new services and improve existing ones
- Maintain accurate records of library materials, circulation statistics, and patron interactions
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and trends in library science

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a librarian or in a similar role
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Proficient in using library management systems and online databases for research purposes
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people
- Knowledge of current trends in literature, technology, and information resources
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in additional languages is a plus
- Must have legal authorization to work in Medina

Salary: $1200 per month
