We are seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at a retail store in Abu Dhabi. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling all cash transactions accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
- Greet customers entering the store and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Scan and bag items accurately and efficiently at checkout
- Process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using electronic scanners
- Maintain accurate cash drawer balance by counting money in the beginning and end of each shift
- Resolve customer complaints in a timely manner, escalating to management if needed
- Keep checkout area clean and well-stocked with necessary supplies
- Assist with merchandising tasks such as restocking shelves and organizing displays
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the store

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role preferred but not required
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
