Job Title: Smelter - Zagreb, Croatia (Contract)


We are seeking a skilled Smelter to join our team in Zagreb on a contract basis. As a Smelter, you will be responsible for melting and refining various metals, such as aluminum, copper, and steel, in order to create products for industrial use. This role requires someone with experience in operating smelting equipment and ensuring the safe and efficient production of high-quality metal products.

Responsibilities:
- Operate smelting equipment to melt and refine metals into desired product forms
- Monitor the temperature, pressure, and flow of materials during the smelting process
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure proper functioning and troubleshoot any issues that arise
- Follow safety protocols to protect against hazardous materials and maintain a safe working environment
- Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and maintain quality standards
- Keep accurate records of production data, including quantities produced and any quality control measures taken

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in smelting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Smelter or similar role in an industrial setting
- Knowledge of smelting processes and equipment operation techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and follow technical instructions accurately
- Proficient in basic math calculations for measuring quantities of materials used or produced
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, physical strength, and stamina required for operating heavy machinery
- Biometric passport and residence card required for non-Croatian nationals

Salary:
Starting salary for this contract position is 1500$ per month.
