Mine Safety Supervisor

Our mining company in Zagreb is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Mine Safety Supervisor to join our team. As the Mine Safety Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of all miners and equipment in our underground mine.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all safety protocols and procedures in the mine, including regular inspections and audits
- Conduct safety training for all new miners and ongoing training for current employees
- Monitor air quality, ventilation systems, and other potential hazards in the mine
- Enforce compliance with all safety regulations and address any violations immediately
- Investigate any accidents or incidents that occur in the mine and make recommendations for improvements
- Maintain detailed records of safety inspections, trainings, and incidents

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience working as a miner, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Extensive knowledge of mining safety regulations and best practices
- Experience conducting safety trainings and managing safety programs
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively communicate with a diverse team
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Salary: $1000 per month without accommodation. Visa sponsorship is available for non-citizens.
