Smelter Operator

The Smelter Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring equipment in the smelting process, ensuring the safe and efficient production of metal. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, as well as physical stamina to work in a hot and physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor smelting equipment, including furnaces, conveyors, and crushers
- Maintain proper levels of raw materials and adjust feed rates as needed
- Monitor temperatures, pressures, and other indicators to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as necessary
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area at all times
- Assist with maintenance tasks and repairs as needed

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in smelting preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working in a smelting facility
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow specific procedures
- Physical ability to work in a hot, physically demanding environment for extended periods of time
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as needed
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment

Salary: $1100 per month

Location: Pula, Croatia (accommodation provided)
