Shaper Assistant


We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Shaper Assistant to join our team in Pula. As a Shaper Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced Shaper to assist in the creation and shaping of surfboards. This is a full-time position with accommodation provided. We welcome students who are passionate about surfing and interested in gaining hands-on experience in the surfboard shaping industry.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting the Shaper in all stages of surfboard shaping, including measuring, cutting, sanding, and finishing
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
- Learning about different types of materials used in surfboard shaping and their properties
- Assisting with inventory management and ordering supplies as needed
- Participating in team meetings and providing input on improving processes

Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of surfboards and the shaping process
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and other physical tasks involved in surfboard shaping
- Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and take direction from the Shaper
