Foundry Assistant - Dubrovnik, Croatia

We are currently hiring a Foundry Assistant to join our team in Dubrovnik. As a Foundry Assistant, you will assist our experienced foundrymen in the production of high-quality metal castings. This position does not require previous experience, making it an ideal opportunity for freshers looking to gain hands-on experience in the foundry industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist foundrymen with various tasks such as melting and pouring metal, sanding and polishing castings, and operating machinery
- Maintain clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations and properly handling equipment and materials
- Learn and apply proper techniques for handling molten metal to ensure quality castings
- Assist with quality control inspections to ensure all castings meet standards

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical education preferred)
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods of time)
- Basic understanding of metalworking processes is a plus
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions from experienced foundrymen
