Smelter Technician
Location: Dubrovnik, Croatia


We are hiring a skilled Smelter Technician to join our team at a metal smelting facility in Dubrovnik. As a Smelter Technician, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining smelting equipment, monitoring production processes, and ensuring the safe handling of molten metal.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain smelting equipment according to established procedures
- Monitor production processes and make adjustments as needed to ensure efficiency
- Troubleshoot and repair any issues with smelting equipment
- Ensure the safe handling of molten metal, following all safety protocols
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs
- Maintain accurate records of production data and equipment maintenance
- Follow all environmental regulations and guidelines for waste disposal
- Train new employees on proper operation of smelting equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in metalworking preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience working with smelting equipment in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals related to smelting equipment
- Familiarity with safety protocols for working with molten metal
- Strong attention to detail and ability to troubleshoot technical issues
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:
This is a physically demanding job that requires the ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in hot environments. Must also have good hand-eye coordination and dexterity for operating machinery.

Working Hours:
This is a part-time position with flexible hours. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1300 per month.
