Power Engineer
As a Power Engineer in Dubrovnik, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of power plants and related equipment. Your primary goal will be to provide a continuous supply of electricity to customers while adhering to all regulations and safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the operation of power plants, including generators, turbines, boilers, and auxiliary equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot any issues with equipment or systems, and perform necessary repairs or maintenance
- Conduct regular inspections and tests of power plant equipment to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with other engineers and technicians to develop innovative solutions for improving efficiency and reducing costs
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in technology related to power generation
- Implement safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees
- Keep detailed records of plant operations, maintenance activities, and any incidents or accidents that occur
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 2 years experience working as a Power Engineer in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of power generation principles and systems, including gas turbines, steam turbines, and diesel engines
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards for power plants
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems effectively
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be able to work flexible hours as needed
Salary: 1200$ per month with accommodation provided.
