Land Surveyor
As a Land Surveyor, you will be responsible for accurately measuring and mapping land areas for construction, development, or other purposes. You will use a variety of tools and technology to collect data, including GPS systems, total stations, and aerial photography. Your duties will also include researching property records and legal documents to determine boundaries and creating detailed reports and maps of survey results.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in surveying or related field
- Proven experience as a land surveyor
- In-depth knowledge of land surveying techniques and equipment
- Proficient in using GPS systems, total stations, and other surveying tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical fitness for working outdoors in various weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Conduct land surveys using various methods such as GPS, total stations, or aerial photography
- Research property records to determine boundaries and ownership information
- Prepare detailed sketches, maps, and reports of survey results
- Use computer software to process data and create accurate maps
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals on construction projects
- Ensure all work is completed according to industry standards and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of surveys and data collected
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress
- Travel to different locations for project sites
Salary: $1800 per month
