Slinger (Contract)


We are in need of a skilled Slinger to join our team on a contract basis. As a Slinger, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently moving materials and equipment on construction sites. Our ideal candidate will have previous experience in the construction industry and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate cranes and other heavy equipment to move materials and equipment as directed by the site supervisor
- Inspect slings, cables, chains, and other rigging equipment for signs of wear or damage before each use
- Communicate with the crane operator to ensure proper placement of materials
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate rigging techniques
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations at all times
- Keep accurate records of materials moved and daily activities

Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Slinger in the construction industry
- Familiarity with different types of rigging equipment and proper usage techniques
- Ability to read blueprints and understand weight capacities for different types of cranes
- Strong communication skills to effectively relay information to the crane operator and other team members
- Excellent problem-solving abilities to address any issues that may arise during material movement

Salary:
This is a contract position with a salary of $1100 per month.

Location:
This position is located in Osijek, Croatia. However, we welcome candidates from any nationality who are legally able to work in Croatia.

Accommodation:
There is no accommodation provided with this position. Candidates must arrange their own housing during the duration of the contract.
