Collections Officer

As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from customers. Your main goal will be to minimize the amount of unpaid debt, while maintaining positive relationships with clients. Your daily tasks will include contacting customers via phone, email or mail to remind them of their overdue payments, negotiating payment plans and monitoring payment agreements. You will also be expected to accurately update and maintain records of all communications and actions taken. Additionally, you may be required to conduct credit checks on new customers and make recommendations on credit limits. This position requires strong communication and negotiation skills, as well as a thorough understanding of debt collection laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent time management abilities and a high level of attention to detail.
