Milling Machine Operator

A milling machine company in Split is seeking a skilled and experienced Milling Machine Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in operating milling machines and be able to work full-time without the need for accommodation. As a Milling Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating various types of milling machines to produce high-quality metal parts according to specifications. This will involve reading blueprints, selecting appropriate tools, adjusting machine settings, and monitoring the production process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in operating milling machines and be familiar with different types of materials such as aluminum, steel, and titanium. You should also possess a strong mechanical aptitude, excellent hand-eye coordination, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to produce metal parts according to specifications
- Read technical drawings and blueprints to determine machine settings
- Select appropriate tools and materials for each job
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality control
- Make adjustments as needed during production process
- Inspect finished products for accuracy
- Maintain clean work area and equipment

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Technical degree or certification preferred
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating milling machines
- Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to troubleshoot issues quickly
- Experience working with various materials such as aluminum, steel, or titanium
- Familiarity with reading technical drawings and blueprints
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs regularly
