We are seeking a skilled Machine Operator to work in our contract job in Nizwa, Oman. As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of machinery used in the production process. Your main duties will include setting up machines, adjusting settings, performing quality checks and troubleshooting issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor machines during production runs
- Set up machines according to specifications
- Adjust settings to control speed, temperature and other factors
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Troubleshoot issues that may arise during production
- Ensure quality standards are met by performing regular checks on finished products
- Keep accurate records of production activities and report any issues to supervisor

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a machine operator or similar role
- Knowledge of machine operation and maintenance procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Physically fit with the ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects if necessary
