Head Chef - Dar Kulaib, Bahrain


We are in search of a talented and passionate Head Chef to join our team in Dar Kulaib, Bahrain. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and managing the culinary team. Your main goal will be to ensure that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences through delicious and high-quality dishes.

Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus that align with our restaurant's concept and appeal to our target audience.
- Manage inventory levels, order supplies and maintain proper food cost control.
- Train, supervise and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food preparation and presentation.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and portion sizes to ensure consistency.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and improve existing ones.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen at all times.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop kitchen staff.
- Creative mindset with a passion for culinary arts.
- In-depth knowledge of various cooking techniques, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications:
- Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Sous Chef or higher position in a reputable restaurant or hotel.
- Experience in creating menus for different cuisines is an advantage.

Salary:
We offer a competitive salary of $900 per month along with other benefits such as accommodation allowance, transportation allowance, medical insurance, annual leave days, etc.
