Preservation Architect


We are seeking a skilled Preservation Architect to join our team in Moscow, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historic buildings, ensuring their architectural integrity and maintaining their cultural significance. Your main goal will be to protect and conserve the unique historical features of each structure while also making necessary updates to ensure its functionality and safety.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history and design of historic buildings
- Assess and document the current condition of buildings
- Develop preservation plans and strategies to maintain the architectural integrity of buildings
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other professionals to implement preservation projects
- Monitor construction progress to ensure adherence to preservation plans and standards
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential risks or issues that may affect the structural integrity of buildings
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of buildings and any necessary updates or repairs
- Provide expert recommendations on conservation techniques and materials
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in preservation techniques

Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience as a Preservation Architect
- Strong understanding of architectural styles, building materials, and preservation techniques
- Experience conducting historic research and preparing preservation plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Russian (or willingness to learn Russian)
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Salary:
The salary for this position is $1600 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Moscow, Russia.
