Junior Librarian

Our library in Moscow is seeking a Junior Librarian to join our team. As a Junior Librarian, you will assist with the daily operations of the library and provide support to the Senior Librarian. This position is perfect for students or recent graduates interested in gaining experience in the field of librarianship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with finding and checking out materials
- Organize and shelve books, magazines, and other materials
- Make suggestions for new acquisitions to enhance our collection
- Create displays and promote library events
- Monitor and enforce library rules and policies
- Assist with cataloging and processing new materials
- Provide reference services and assist with research inquiries
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for patrons

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or a related field (or currently pursuing)
- Excellent communication skills and customer service experience
- Knowledge of library systems and procedures preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
