Network and Systems Administrator - St. Petersburg, Russia



We are seeking a highly skilled Network and Systems Administrator to join our team in St. Petersburg, Russia. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our company's network and systems infrastructure. You will work closely with other IT professionals to ensure the smooth operation of all network and system components.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement and maintain company's network infrastructure
- Monitor network performance, troubleshoot issues and perform necessary upgrades
- Manage and maintain servers, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software
- Ensure data backups are performed regularly and securely stored
- Perform security audits and implement necessary measures to protect company's systems from potential threats
- Collaborate with team members to plan for future network growth and expansion
- Provide technical support to end-users for any network or system related issues

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
- Experience with server administration (Windows/Linux)
- Proficient in virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with cloud computing (AWS/Azure) is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
