Turner - Machinist

We are a leading manufacturing company in St-Petersburg seeking a skilled Turner - Machinist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the set-up and operation of various machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating lathes, milling machines, and other metalworking tools.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Set up and operate machine tools to perform precision machining operations such as cutting, drilling, milling, reaming, and threading
- Verify dimensions of machined parts using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make adjustments as needed
- Inspect finished parts for quality control and make necessary adjustments
- Maintain equipment by performing routine maintenance as needed

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Turner or Machinist in a manufacturing setting
- Proficient in reading blueprints and using precision measuring instruments
- Knowledge of tooling setup and operation for lathes, milling machines, etc.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and quality control skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1700 per month.

Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with regular working hours from Monday-Friday. Overtime may be required on occasion.
