Merchandising Assistant

As a Merchandising Assistant, you will support the retail merchandising team in St. Petersburg. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of product displays and promotions to drive sales and improve customer experience. You will also be responsible for monitoring inventory levels and collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products. This is a contract role with a salary of $1600 per month, perfect for students or individuals looking to gain experience in the merchandising industry.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the creation and execution of visual displays and product promotions
- Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate any potential issues
- Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities
- Maintain visual standards in-store to enhance customer experience
- Assist with product ordering, receiving, and stocking
- Support the retail team in various administrative tasks as needed

Requirements:
- Prior experience in retail or merchandising preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
