Preservation Architect



We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preservation Architect to join our team in Chelyabinsk, Russia. As a Preservation Architect, you will be responsible for preserving historical buildings and structures, ensuring their longevity and cultural significance. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$, including accommodation and visa sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough research on the history and significance of historical buildings and structures
- Develop preservation plans and strategies in accordance with local regulations and preservation standards
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other professionals to ensure preservation work is carried out effectively
- Conduct site visits to assess the condition of buildings and structures, identifying areas requiring urgent maintenance or preservation work
- Prepare detailed reports on the condition of historical buildings and structures, including recommendations for preservation work
- Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure timely completion of preservation projects
- Maintain documentation of all preservation work carried out on historical buildings and structures

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience as a Preservation Architect, preferably working with historical buildings or structures
- Strong understanding of local regulations and preservation standards related to historical buildings
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team as well as work independently
- Attention to detail and strong project management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Preservation Architecture or Historic Preservation
- Certification from relevant professional organizations such as the National Council for Preservation Education (NCPE) or the American Institute for Conservation (AIC)
- Knowledge of conservation techniques for different building materials such as stone, wood, metal, etc.
