Executive Chef - Russian Cuisine (Chelyabinsk, Russia)
As an Executive Chef specializing in Russian cuisine, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, authentic Russian dishes to our customers. This is a hands-on role that requires strong leadership skills, creativity, and a passion for Russian cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain menus that showcase traditional and modern Russian dishes
- Source high-quality ingredients and oversee their preparation by kitchen staff
- Train and manage kitchen staff to ensure consistent execution of recipes and presentation of dishes
- Monitor food costs and manage inventory to meet budgetary goals
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with food safety regulations
- Collaborate with restaurant management to create seasonal specials and promotions
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in Russian cuisine and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Culinary degree or equivalent experience as an Executive Chef in a reputable restaurant or hotel
- Proven experience in creating and executing traditional Russian dishes with a modern twist
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, motivate, and manage a diverse team
- Knowledge of food cost management, inventory control, and menu planning
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
