Head Baker

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Baker to join our team in Chelyabinsk, Russia. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking and strong leadership skills to oversee our bakery operations. As the Head Baker, you will be responsible for creating delicious and visually appealing baked goods, managing inventory, training and supervising staff, and ensuring high quality standards are met. This is a full-time position with a salary of 1300$ per month, with visa sponsorship available for non-Russian nationals. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals regardless of gender.

Responsibilities:
- Create and decorate a variety of baked goods such as breads, pastries, cakes, and cookies
- Ensure all products meet our high quality standards in taste and appearance
- Manage inventory levels to ensure ingredients are always available
- Train new bakery staff on baking techniques, safety procedures, and company policies
- Supervise bakery staff to ensure efficient production and maintain a clean work environment
- Develop new recipes or modify existing ones to keep up with market trends
- Monitor equipment maintenance and report any issues to management
- Collaborate with other departments such as sales and marketing to develop new products or promotions

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef in a commercial kitchen setting
- Knowledge of different baking methods and techniques
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Creativity in developing new recipes
- Good communication skills in Russian (English is an asset)

Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Formal training in baking or pastry arts from an accredited institution preferred

Working Conditions:
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week. Flexible scheduling may be required depending on business needs. The work environment includes standing for long periods of time, working with hot ovens and heavy equipment, and handling various ingredients including dairy, gluten, and nuts.
