Typesetter

We are currently hiring a Typesetter to join our publishing team in Chelyabinsk. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and arranging text and images in various documents such as books, magazines, and newspapers. You will work closely with editors and designers to ensure the layout is visually appealing and error-free.

Responsibilities:
- Format text according to specific design guidelines and templates
- Arrange images and graphics within the layout
- Check for spelling and grammatical errors
- Collaborate with editors and designers to make necessary changes
- Ensure consistency in font styles, sizes, and spacing throughout the document
- Prepare final files for printing or digital publishing

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Familiarity with typography principles and design concepts
- Attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Good communication skills to collaborate with team members

Salary: $900 per month (without accommodation)

Location: Chelyabinsk, Russia (biometric passport required)
