Back-End Developer

As a Back-End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the server-side of our web applications. Your primary focus will be ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be involved in integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. To be successful in this role, you should have a strong understanding of server-side programming languages and frameworks, as well as experience with database design and management. Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side code for our web applications
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure smooth integration of front-end elements
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Troubleshoot and debug technical issues that may arise
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in back-end development

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- Proven work experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of server-side programming languages, such as Java or Node.js
- Experience with database design and management (e.g. MySQL)
- Familiarity with front-end languages (e.g. HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving skills
