Contract Typesetter in Izhevsk

A publishing company in Izhevsk is seeking a skilled and experienced Typesetter to join our team on a contract basis. As a Typesetter, you will be responsible for formatting and laying out text and images for printed materials such as books, magazines, and newspapers. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:
- Format and arrange text and images according to the design specifications provided
- Ensure consistency in font choices, spacing, alignment, and overall visual appeal
- Proofread for any errors or inconsistencies before submitting for final print
- Collaborate with editors, designers, and other team members to produce high-quality publications
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and software advancements in typesetting

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Typesetter or similar role
- Proficient in typesetting software such as Adobe InDesign or QuarkXPress
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training in typesetting is a plus

Salary:
The salary for this contract position is $1700 per month.

Location:
This position is based in Izhevsk, Russia.

Accommodation:
This is a non-accommodation position. The candidate must have their own housing arrangements in Izhevsk.

Visa and Ticket:
We will provide the selected candidate with a free visa and ticket to travel to Izhevsk for the duration of the contract.
