Part-Time Librarian for Indian Nationals in Al-Khor, Qatar


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Part-Time Librarian to join our team at a prestigious library in Al-Khor. As a librarian, you will be responsible for assisting patrons with locating and utilizing library resources, managing the library's collection, and providing exceptional customer service. This position is open to Indian nationals who are fluent in English and have a valid visa or require sponsorship.

Responsibilities:
- Assist patrons with finding and using library resources
- Manage the library's collection, including cataloging and shelving materials
- Provide reference services and research assistance to patrons
- Maintain an organized and welcoming environment for patrons
- Promote library programs, resources, and services to the community
- Assist with planning and implementing special events or programs
- Keep up-to-date with current trends in librarianship and technology

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Library Science or related field
- Previous experience working in a library setting preferred
- Fluent in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Familiarity with library systems and technology
