Head Chef - Pakistani Cuisine (Temporary)
We are seeking a skilled and talented Head Chef to join our team on a temporary basis, specializing in Pakistani cuisine. This is an exciting opportunity for a chef who is passionate about creating delicious and authentic dishes, using traditional techniques and ingredients. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen, including menu planning, food preparation, and managing a team of kitchen staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop creative and authentic Pakistani menus that reflect our restaurant's brand and vision
- Plan and execute all food preparation activities in accordance with food safety standards
- Train and manage a team of kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to ensure efficient operation of the kitchen
- Maintain high levels of food quality and presentation at all times
- Collaborate with management to develop new dishes or seasonal menus that showcase Pakistani cuisine
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety guidelines
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Head Chef or Executive Chef in a busy restaurant setting
- In-depth knowledge of Pakistani cuisine, including traditional dishes, spices, and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead a team effectively and maintain high standards of performance under pressure
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with kitchen staff, management, and suppliers
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $1000/month
Location: Bayan (Pakistani nationality preferred)
