Crane Operator



We are seeking a skilled and experienced Crane Operator to join our team in Nizwa. As a Crane Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various types of cranes to lift, move, and position materials and equipment in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:
- Operate different types of cranes such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes according to job requirements
- Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Read and interpret load charts to determine load capacities
- Communicate effectively with ground crew using hand signals or radio communication
- Rig loads using proper techniques and attachments
- Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly
- Keep accurate records of daily activities, maintenance logs, and safety inspections

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Valid crane operator certification/license preferred
- Knowledge of different types of cranes, rigging techniques, and load capacities
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and load charts
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects consistently throughout the day

Salary:
1200$ per month (negotiable based on experience)

This is a full-time position. However, we also welcome applications from students who are looking for part-time employment during their studies. We offer flexible schedules that can accommodate your class schedule.
