Barista for Café in Khasab



We are seeking an experienced Barista to join our team at a busy café located in the charming city of Khasab. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, as well as light snacks and pastries.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, smoothies, and other specialty drinks
- Ensure quality control by properly measuring ingredients, following recipes, and maintaining consistency in taste
- Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations on menu items
- Operate various coffee making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders
- Keep a clean and organized work area by regularly cleaning equipment, counters, tables, and floors
- Stock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure availability of ingredients for menu items
- Process customer payments accurately using cash registers or other payment systems

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working as a Barista in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of different brewing methods and latte art is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Must have a biometric passport or valid visa to work in Oman (if not an Omani national)
- Ability to work full-time schedule including weekends and holidays if needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds

Salary:
Starting salary for this position is $1500 per month. Additional benefits such as tips may also be provided.
