Executive Chef - Seasonal Position in Abu Dhabi (Indian Nationals Preferred)
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team for a seasonal position in Abu Dhabi. This is a great opportunity for an Indian national with a passion for cooking to showcase their skills in a dynamic and multicultural environment.
As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. You will work closely with the restaurant manager to ensure high-quality food and exceptional service are maintained at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and update menus based on seasonal availability and trends
- Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented according to company standards
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including cooks, sous chefs, and dishwashers
- Monitor inventory levels and order ingredients as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked kitchen
- Adhere to all food safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in a high-volume restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of Indian cuisine and cooking techniques
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Attention to detail and creativity in menu planning
- Knowledge of food cost control measures
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Valid work permit for Abu Dhabi
Salary: $1300 per month (tax-free) plus accommodation provided. This is a seasonal position from November to April.
