Indian Executive Chef in Abu Dhabi
We are seeking a highly skilled Indian Executive Chef to join our team in Abu Dhabi. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu creation, food preparation, and staff management. You must have experience in Indian cuisine and a strong understanding of flavor combinations and cooking techniques.
Key responsibilities:
- Develop menus and create new dishes that showcase traditional Indian flavors
- Manage inventory and control costs to ensure profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff on proper food handling and sanitation practices
- Monitor food quality and presentation to maintain high standards
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute special events or promotions
- Stay updated on current food trends and incorporate them into menu development
Requirements:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef in a high-end restaurant or hotel
- Extensive knowledge of Indian cuisine, including regional variations
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and train a diverse team
- Strong understanding of food cost control, budgeting, and inventory management
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills
