Carpenter for Residential Construction

As a Carpenter for Residential Construction in Al-Khor, Qatar, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard. You will primarily work on residential properties, following blueprints and building plans to meet project specifications. You must be able to perform a variety of tasks including measuring and cutting materials, installing windows and doors, framing walls and floors, and finishing surfaces with paint or varnish.

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a carpenter in residential construction.
- Must be able to read blueprints and building plans.
- Knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and woodworking machinery.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Physically fit with good stamina.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent time management skills.

Responsibilities:
- Study blueprints and building plans to determine materials needed and dimensions of structure or fixture to be constructed.
- Measure and mark cutting lines on materials according to specifications.
- Follow safety protocols when using hand tools, power tools or woodworking machinery.
- Install structures such as windows, doors, staircases using appropriate measurements.
- Build or repair cabinets, tables, bookshelves or any other wooden structures required on site.
- Inspect finished product for accurate measurements as per blueprint specifications.
- Clean up job site after completion of project.

Salary:
Starting salary is 1300$ per month. Salary may increase based on experience.
