Truck driver vacancy in Manama Bahrain

Contract Truck Driver
We are in need of a reliable and experienced Contract Truck Driver to join our team in Manama. As a Contract Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently to their designated locations. This is a contract position with a competitive salary of 1000$ per month.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain trucks used for the transportation of goods
- Load, secure, and unload cargo safely and efficiently
- Plan routes to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Follow traffic laws and company safety regulations at all times
- Communicate with dispatchers and other team members to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
- Keep detailed records of deliveries, including any incidents or delays
- Conduct regular maintenance checks on the truck to ensure its safety and report any mechanical issues immediately

Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a truck driver
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations or accidents in the past 3 years
- Good physical condition as the job requires loading and unloading heavy items
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent time management skills
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends if necessary

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience driving trucks with manual transmission
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Prior experience in contract work
