Indian Chef in Al-Rayyan
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Indian Chef to join our team in Al-Rayyan. As an Indian Chef, you will be responsible for creating delicious and authentic Indian dishes, managing kitchen operations, and maintaining high standards of food quality and hygiene. The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience working as a chef in an Indian restaurant or hotel. Salary for this position is 1500$ per month.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and create menus featuring a variety of traditional and modern Indian dishes
- Source fresh ingredients and ensure that all food items are prepared according to the highest standards of quality and taste
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation
- Train and supervise other kitchen staff members to maintain consistency in food preparation
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times
- Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new menu items or make changes to existing ones based on customer feedback
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as an Indian Chef in a restaurant or hotel setting
- Strong knowledge of traditional Indian cuisine, spices, herbs, and cooking techniques
- Ability to create unique and innovative dishes while maintaining authentic flavors
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Team player with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must be legally authorized to work in Al-Rayyan
