Welder

As a Welder, you will be responsible for joining metal parts together using various welding techniques, such as MIG, TIG, and stick welding. You will work with a variety of metals, including steel and aluminum, to fabricate and repair structures and equipment. This position is based in Nizwa and the salary is 1600$.

Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding process
- Set up and operate welding equipment according to specifications
- Weld components in various positions using appropriate welding techniques
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality standards
- Repair damaged metal parts by welding on new pieces or filling holes with metal
- Clean and maintain welding equipment regularly
- Follow all safety procedures and wear appropriate protective gear at all times

Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder or similar role
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings
- Knowledge of different welding techniques (MIG, TIG, stick)
- Familiarity with various types of metals and their properties
- Ability to operate welding equipment safely and effectively
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various positions for extended periods of time
- Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
- Basic math skills for measuring materials accurately
- Valid certification in welding is preferred
